Living in a duplex when your used to your own house.. blah... First its so much smaller then anything we have ever lived in. Second neighbors can get annoying. Here is the deal, Noah and another kid from the neighborhood were writing with sidewalk chalk on our walk way (we have our own walk up to the house and then there is a join walk between the two doors) and the neighbor asked if our kids would not use sidewalk chalk even on our half of the sidewalk becuase it looked trashy to see sidewalk chalk all over Well for one its OUR side, we pay for our side, the landlords don't mind the sidewalk chalk and all the other kids around here use it in their yards and such so I dont' see a problem. Two Brian goes out every evening and washes it off so the kids can write again the next day, so they really have nothing to complain about. I realize trhey have no kids, but the guys brother lives with them right now and his daughter is there every other weekend and she is bad about taking off with the kids toys that are outside and such (most of their toys are in the back but we have a little bucket in the front that has the sidewalk chalk and a few little toys in it for when we are out front (has a small basketball and such as well) but we have never complained about her, so I don't see why my kids playing with sidewalk chalk just twice outside is something for them to complain about. Brian at first just saiud yeah whatever,but later after we talked about it, he said it wasn't fair to our kids to not be able to use the sidewalk chalk that was given to them from their grandparnets because the neighbors just aren't into sidewalk chalk... ugh... Anyway so Brian is going to talk to them again, because they truely are nice people, they just don't understand we have young children and this is something they enjoy and if its not interfering with their half of the sidewalk and such, they really can't say too much... Anyway rambling, sorry |
